Background

Before Mel joined us, she was already an MDRT achiever in her first year. Background

Padrick was a young advisor who was barely 6 months in the industry when he first joined us. Back then, he was averaging $4000 in commissions every single month, and set his eyes on achieving MDRT by the end of the year. The “magic” equation he had in mind was: More Leads = More Appointments = More Sales, and thought that all he needed was to get more leads.

However, when the Covid situation in Singapore didn't seem to be improving, his leads started to slow down and he was starting to get worried. 

The Process

When Padrick began working with us, we discovered that what he actually needed was not more leads, but a structured sales process to increase his closing ratio.

We provided him with a sales framework and refined his presentation skills, one that focuses more on educating the prospect, making the prospect want the product, rather than pushing the product down the their throats.

Not only did Spencer quit his previous job of 10 years to join the industry, but he is also a dad of two amazing daughters. At that point in time, he have a family to feed, and therefore, he felt a pressing need to make it work, to earn the money, and provide a better living for his family without worrying.

Prior to joining Authentic Advisory Systems (previously known as 2xYC), he was in another program but he felt that it wasn’t relatable and there wasn’t much value to what he wanted to do.

The Process

At the beginning, Spencer only wanted to learn and use social media to grow his business. However, we recognized that while social media was a good catalyst to growing his business, it wasn’t the most important at that point in time. What mattered more was his closing ratio and presentation that was holding him back from earning his commissions. As usual, we build the structure and system with him in his business, and the rest was history.

Yixin responded to our instagram message and advertisements and she came as someone who was already producing decent results, and went on to achieve her MDRT within a couple of months with us.

While she was an amazing advisor that had her prospects and clients’ interests at heart, her consistency in generating leads was off the mark. She was able to connect and get a few appointments from her friends and existing, a little bit of here and there - but nothing that was predictable and certain.

Prior to this, Yixin had gone for other courses and workshops but it just didn’t suit her style of working and the lack of touch points as these workshops were usually only a 3 or 4 day stint.

In addition, her real problem with the advisory business is that it was unorganised and her cases seem to come in by “luck” and “random”, due to low productivity and feeling demoralised easily.

The Process

We organised and tidied up her sales process, giving her structure and thereby more predictability in her closing conversions, rather than a “See how the conversation goes” method.

With her action taking mindset, we helped her achieve more referrals. We intentionally installed a referral process into her sales process, and got at least 2 referrals from each appointment without the prospect buying anything.

On the coaching call, we kept her accountable and she also received harsh but factual truths on her efforts in carrying out the prospecting activities that were taught to her. She learned from it, picked it up and the rest was history.

By shifting her mindset from “closing” someone to “qualifying and serving”, she’s enjoying her appointments, getting tremendous fulfillment and being happy.

The Results

Yixin to date have closed more than $50,000 premiums within four months of joining our program while being happier and purposeful in her appointments.

Yixin feels more certain of the goals that she set for herself because she knows exactly what needs to be done to get there.

Her social media on instagram specifically have also been giving her appointments, both casual and insurance related which adds as a booster to her current method of prospecting.

Yew Kit: $100,000 FYC In 10 Months

Background

Yew kit reached out to us for help in his business via Instagram after seeing we have been doing.

His first year in the business was shaky and faced a lot of rejections from prospects, and many ghosted on him after that. He felt jaded, pushed back and faced a ton of resistance even from his clients as well.

The Process

After we went on our coaching calls, we realised that the way he texted his prospects was blunt and wasn’t primed enough to frame his prospect strongly to get an appointment. We nailed down a lot on his messaging, tweaked his sales process and further transformed the way he conducted his business.

The Results

With his hard work ethic and diligence, Jett produced his entire last year’s commissions in just 6 months after joining us.
What was crazy is that Jett also cleared his MDRT in 6 months, despite the entire Covid-19 and lock down happening in Singapore, and finished strong with a strong $100k in commissions in 2020.

When we first met Jasper, he didn’t know how to brand himself and differentiate himself so that he could stand out from other advisors. One of his biggest challenge was that he wasn’t able to attract the right kind of prospects that he could actually close (in fact some of those prospects that were coming to him were skeptical about financial planning and weren’t interested to buy in the first place).

He also felt that even though what his agency was sharing with him was good, it wasn’t the most applicable for him and the stage of advisory business he was in.

The Process

When Jasper joined us, we immediately taught him how to exactly brand himself such that he would be able to attract people that are a right fit to work with him. On top of that, we also helped him break down what made him different from other advisors and how he could leverage that to stand apart from the sea of advisors out there in the market.

In addition, we guided Jasper to establish a business structure which enabled him to pinpoint exactly which are the areas he has to tweak and improve on.

With a business structure and his new-found ability to differentiate and brand himself, Jasper started attracting more people that were a right fit for him and increased his closing ratio significantly.

Levinson: From $5,000 to Two MDRTs in 1 Year

Background

When Levinson met us through an Instagram outreach message by us, he had difficulties prospecting, and had to rely on cold calling. He had a few warm prospects here and there but was clueless about how to reach out to more in an effective manner. The key problem here is that not many know that he is working in the industry, and nor do they know that he is good at what he does.

After 6 months in the industry, he struggled to earn $5000 in commissions, and less than 20 clients. He had bills to pay and he was even considering going back to Foodpanda to supplement his income as he was fearful of not being able to earn more money.

He was considering it hard before joining us because he was worried about his future cash flow but he took a leap of faith and the rest was history.

The Process

The first thing we did was to get him to optimise his social media profile so that he can leverage both Instagram and Facebook to market himself out there and attract the right people. Within a few days, he got a few interests and closed two appointments from instagram. What was surprising about this was that he only had 223 followers back then!

His online presence reinforced his offline, where his friends raise up the topic of financial planning even during casual meetups, enabling him to open up cases from there.

On our coaching calls, he learned the fundamentals of positioning himself as an advisor on social media and more importantly, during the appointment itself. This thereby enabled him to carry out his appointment just like a doctor, with high closing conversion and minimal objections.

The Results

His business shifted from one that was hunting to one that was consistently receiving passive leads and referrals from his clients, as well as from his social media.

He also achieved his MDRT in just 5 months after joining us, going from $5000 FYC to almost $80,000 FYC. Because of his diligence, hard work and drive, he also went on to clear ANOTHER MDRT in the first quarter of 2021.

His wife was happy and mentioned that he made the right decision to invest and work with us one year ago.

Deon: $78 To More Than $200,000 In Income in 9 Months

Background

Deon came to us through a referral from one of our working partners. Deon is an incredible advisor, confident and we could tell he had a lot of potential, but the biggest issue was his focus.

Deon had previously been attending courses, meeting everybody that he knows in the attempt to learn from everyone and create his own process. After years of doing that, it was clear that it wasn’t working out, despite some of the strategies deployed working extremely well for others.

Moreover, he has been promoted to a manager, which took away even more time off his sales production.

The Process

After going through multiple coaching calls, we identified that Deon’s business needed a clearer system and leverage, with a better way of getting his clients, all while managing his team.

We realigned his existing prospecting methods and refined it, including grabbing the lowest hanging fruit of servicing his existing clients and attaining referrals.

Due to the very fact that he lacks time, Deon needed leverage on his time and efforts. We gave him tools to kickstart his social media presence to expand his outreach as well as establishing a referral process in his sales.

Deon received more than 10 passive leads from social media, which he had never gotten any previously. He also started to get minimally 3 - 5 referrals for almost every appointment that he goes for.
